I am the Director of Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality in Unity Labs, managing a team of cross-disciplinary artists and engineers. My group explores how humans will interact with computers in the future, and what tools we need to make to enable that future.
Our open-source VR extension for Unity, EditorVR, was released in December 2016 and is available on Github for you to download and customize today. You can also check out the Labs site to learn more about the team and our projects, check out our repo of small gems, SuperScience, or follow along on Twitter.
My interest range from creation tools to privacy and intent, digitally augmented social and physical spaces, applied machine learning, and hardware for new mediums—specifically inputs for spatial computing. I love hearing about new work in rendering tech, from headsets to holograms, and any company pushing the boundaries on how we can create a future we all want to live in.
I like giving talks, particularly around the future, altered realities, and how we make immersive tools at Unity.
